The Somerset Room - 2nd floor

The Somerset Room is often used as a honeymoon suite and is decorated in tones of peach and dark blue. Luxury  features include a king four poster canopy bed, easy chairs, work desk, Bose Wave radio, Cable TV with VCR and DVD, refrigerator with complementary water and soft drinks and a working marble fireplace. The large private bath has a double whirlpool tub.

During the early 40s, W. Somerset Maugham was a regular guest in this room. It's rumored that he wrote his classic short story, "Razor's Edge" while looking out at the lovely garden.

The Rose Room - 2nd floor

The Rose Room features an inviting brass queen bed, a marble fireplace, a pair of lounge chairs and a private bath with shower. One of our most popular rooms it includes a Bose Wave radio and cable TV with DVD player, and a refrigerator with complementary water and soft drinks.

The Bonaparte Room - 2nd floor

The room features a romantic queen cherry spindle bed with antique canopy. Relax to the sounds of your Bose Wave radio or watch cable TV or a movie from the Inn's extensive collection. You even have your own refrigerator with complementary water and soft drinks. 

Other luxury ammenities include club chairs, a working marble fireplace and a private bath with single whirlpool tub and shower.

The Cottage Suite - 2nd floor
The Cottage Suite features two rooms decorated in refreshing white and blue in the former servants' wing. The suite holds one white metal queen bed Bose Wave radio, cable TV with DVD, refrigerator with complementary water and soft drinks and a separate sitting room.  It has a full relaxing whirlpool bath.

The suite is located across the hall from the Pine room and the hallway door to the rest of the rooms on the second floor can be closed providing additional privacy.  

Families and groups traveling together often rent both the Cottage Suite and the Pine room so they have their own private wing of the mansion.
